There are some things that we could consider as part of the Dubai resident experience. These experiences are almost universal and nearly every resident in town has encountered them. These could be experiences such as trawling through Dubai-Sharjah traffic, or navigating the massive car park in a Dubai shopping mall. These, and more, were highlighted in a hilarious tweet which has gained a lot of popularity among Dubai residents.
In a tweet on Sunday, Dubai-based writer Andrea Anastasiou curated some experiences that every resident can relate to, and dubbed them “Three-word horror stories (Dubai edition)”. Her examples of these horror stories include “100 percent humidity”, “Saturday public holiday”, “New Salik toll”, among others.
